When I'm lucky, I get to work on fun graphic design projects for my office job. Over the last 6 months I've learned a lot about working in Adobe workspace and sometimes I even impress myself with how efficient I've become. Haha. Designing is like crack to me. It's addictive and puts me in and really good mood. Normally these projects don't ever make it to my blog, but I figured it was time for a new post anyways!
project one:
| Love for Luanda |
This program was founded by EDG in 2001. We support two orphanages in Luanda, Angola which is in the South of Africa near one of our EDG offices. In Angola many families are broken up because of a civil war and many children are made orphans. The idea behind Love for Luanda was to support this local orphanage and supply the children with a chance for an education that would not otherwise be given to them. Over the last 9 years EDG employees have donated over $100,000.

{I actually, really like it!! :)}
project two:
| New Orleans style Christmas Party |
The other project is only a graphic to email out to the Metairie office inviting them to the EDG Christmas Party. The Christmas Party should be interesting this year, considering my date also works for the company and that's not always common knowledge. The Boogie Men are really good party band too! But wait, is it really that close to the holidays?! Not gonna lie, it wasn't easy getting into the Christmas spirit for this, Pandora helped.

{I don't hate it!}
The thing that I enjoyed the most about these projects was that I created them from scratch. Including the image of the heart, the fleur de lis, the scrolls, and basic layout - all of it.
Hope you enjoyed!
